Submission guidelines for articles

Submission Guidelines for Articles

The author must hold a postgraduate degree at the Master's, Doctorate, or Post-Doctorate level in Law or related fields.

Articles may have shared authorship. In the case of co-authorship, authors with a specialization level are accepted, provided they partner with a Master's, Doctorate, or Post-Doctorate holder. Article submissions from authors with only an undergraduate degree are also accepted, provided they are co-authored with a Doctorate holder.

Articles must be unpublished, original, and address topics related to Labor Law and related fields of knowledge.

Articles in foreign languages are accepted.

The Documentation and Memory Commission will take into account, as evaluative criteria, the thematic and innovative relevance of the article, as well as its adequacy to parameters of quality, objectivity, and textual coherence.

Articles with content largely similar or identical to other texts published by the same author in another publication, even with a different title, will not be accepted.

Articles should be submitted in electronic format, formatted according to the documentation standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), in Word format, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 pages (excluding bibliographic references), following the configurations below:

  • footnotes should be size 10 and have the same spacing as the body of the text.

Authors will be solely responsible for the content expressed in their articles.

No royalties or any other type of remuneration will be due for articles published in the Journal of the Superior Labor Court, regardless of the type of media in which the publication occurs.

The submission of an article does not imply its obligatory publication, which is decided solely by the Ministers who are members of the Permanent Documentation and Memory Commission of the TST.
