This article analyzes the innovations brought about by Ordinance No. 1,419/2024 of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, which amended NR-1 to expressly include psychosocial risks in the Risk Management Program (PGR). The regulatory update reinforces the need for identification, assessment, and control of these factors. The strategic role of mental health in organizations, the regulatory impacts, the preventive culture, and the legal implications are examined, including in the context of the regulatory transition until 2026. It concludes that the regulatory update represents a relevant milestone in the modern management of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), with repercussions on corporate governance, the prevention of liabilities, and the promotion of healthy and sustainable organizational environments.
