The objective of this research is to identify what is the interpretation of the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) about the territorial scope of res judicata in class actions with regional or national level. For this purpose, the article examines, comparatively, the decisions in the Themes nº 499 e nº 1.075, besides later decisions of brazilian superior courts about this subject. Finally, it is presented the conclusion.
